Who
We Are:
The
Astrians are the highest species of the Astria Galaxy.
The Astrians are living breathing color, which means that
each one represents a color or a hue of a color. In this,
they represent everything that color or hue means symbolically,
emotionally, physically, spiritually and so on.
They
were the first creatures in the Galaxy created by the Exalted
One. All other species have some type of correlation that
leads back to one or more Astrians. They were created as God's
right hands and the keepers of the Galaxy's unity, harmony,
peace and beauty.
They manifest themselves physically and unite the galaxy using
the abstract forces of color. Astrians are what we'd probably call guardian angels here on Earth and in fact, most of the general populace of the Astria Galaxy will call them 'angel' before calling them 'astrian'.
They are the guardians of the galaxy, who fight Sin (which often breaks itself up into a multitude of sins) which is the one thing that can destroy the galaxy. Besides protection, they also answer the prayers of others.
Just because a color represents something, doesn't mean the astrian agrees with it, rather they have to deal with all representations whether good or bad. For example, Lime reps Attraction (which is opposite of her brother Lemon) but actually is annoyed by any and everything being attracted to her.
Together, they
represent The Exalted One’s symbol: The rainbow. The
symbol of the harmony of the traits, elements, emotions, objects
and all else that can be defined by one of the many colors
represented by that rainbow.
Powers and Abilities:
Astrians can naturally create, destroy or manipulate anything that is naturally their color. They also use whatever they represent as abilities. Example: Anger is usually represented by the color red, as such, Red can sense a person's anger, and use it against them. As red is also fire, she normally makes a being's anger literally burn. How you use the representations you have given your astrian is up to you, you might have to be creative and think outside the box to make them effective.
Astrians may use 'spiritual' weapons, meaning that they use only what is 'magical'. You will not find an astrian with any type of bladed weapon or any weapon that would look like something a human would carry around *unless it is completely magical as in blades wouldn't actually 'cut' anything*. Also think about things that would normally be attributed to your color/representation. Ex: Red's main trait is love...thus her main weapon is a magical bow/arrow
Astrians can also mix with each other. Anything legal on the color wheel is legal in Astria. For instance, a red and a yellow astrian can merge to form an orange astrian. Any astrians of the same spectrum can merge to form a stronger astrian. Also any astrians across spectrums with the same representation can merge to form a strong astrian of that single representation. Merging is always temporary.
